Freeman Kporha, a professional cyclist representing the Die Hard cycling group, emerged victorious in the third edition of the 3FM Tour Du Ghana event, triumphing over a field of more than 120 cyclists.

The highly-anticipated race commenced at Accra’s West Hills Mall and culminated at Cape Coast’s Chapel Square.

Kporha’s exceptional performance propelled him to the top of the podium, while Frank Akuffo secured the second position and Emmanuel Mensah claimed third place.

The race lasted for a total of 3 hours, 55 minutes, and 28 seconds, with the cyclists maintaining an impressive average speed of 36.95 km/h.

Richard Atta garnered recognition as the best Para-athlete, displaying remarkable skill and securing the second position in the amateur race. Additionally, Okoro Joan Patrick achieved the fastest speed among the female participants.

The event also celebrated the diversity of the participants, as 57-year-old Annang Adams proved age was no barrier by completing the race, while 16-year-old Phill Ayensu showcased his talent and determination as the youngest cyclist in the competition.

However, last year’s champion, Anthony Boakye, fell short of the top 10 this time around.
