Convener of 18Plus4NDC, Ms. Bridget Bonnie has said that former Trade and Industry Minister Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia have failed hence cannot be President of Ghana.
She said the records of the Vice President who is also the head of the Economic Management Team (EMT) in managing the economy have not been the best.
Ahead of the 2024 general elections, she said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will present a candidate who has a good track record in developing the country unlike the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) which will have no choice but to present either Alan or Dr Bawumia whose records are unsatisfactory.
She said “Alan and Bawumia have done nothing to be voted as Presidents of the country”.
Speaking to journalists, Ms Bonnie outlined a number of projects done by Former President John Mahama and the NDC.
She mentioned the University of Ghana Medical Center, Kejetia Central Market, Ga East Hospital, Atuabo Gas Plant, and Community Day Schools as some of Mr Mahama’s projects which all are found in the NDC’s Green Book.
“NPP is a political party for sloganeering, they are only good in naming and renaming of existing projects of former governments”, she added.
18Plus4NDC is present in Western Region to organize fun games which aims at improving social interaction between young people in the region.
