Lagos Police investigates death of Yul Edochie’s son

Police in Lagos State, Nigeria have commenced investigations into the death of the son of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie.

It was disclosed that Yul Edochie had reported the matter to the Lagos State Police Command after his demise.

State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin in an interview with Daily Post on Friday announced the probe had been forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigations.

Kambilichukwu, 16, who died on Thursday morning after suffering a seizure was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.

However, it was gathered that he died in school as opposed to reports that he passed away in the presence of his parents.

In other reports, the Grandfather of the deceased, Peter Edochie has opened up about his demise.

The veteran actor who spoke to Vanguard News said he was devastated by recent happenings in his family.

Pete Edochie said “Kambilichukwu is a very quiet, brilliant and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry no matter the situation.

“He was so accomplished. I always tell my son that I don’t like people excelling like this in anything they are involved in. Experience has taught me that such people don’t last long.”

Yul and his first wife, May Edochie have four kids together; Kambilichukwu Edochie, Dani Edochie, Karl Edochie and Victory Zane Chukwubuike Yul Edochie.
