Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has advised aspiring actors and actresses to be patient in their pursuit of fame.
The actor, who has graced Ghana’s television screens with films for nearly two decades, revealed that budding talent in the film industry is rushing to become stars.
Adjetey Annan told Giovani on the Showbiz 360 show on TV3 on Friday, June 10 that most aspiring actors look up to Lydia Forson, Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah, and other top actors and want to be like them overnight.
“Nowadays young talents want to be stars overnight but that’s not how it works,” he advised.
Adjetey Anang, proposing a solution, stated that every aspiring talent must be patient enough to go through the process and emerge as refined diamonds.
“Everyone wants diamonds, but no one wants to dig for them.” “Young actors must be willing to dig until they find their diamonds; that is the only way they will remain relevant for a long time,” the ‘Things We Do For Love’ actor said.
