Black Princesses displayed their dominance in a friendly match against Niger as they ramped up their preparations for the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Girls tournament.
The Ghanaian team showcased their attacking prowess, securing a resounding 11-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Yusif Basigi’s side outclassed their Nigerien counterparts from the beginning, leaving no room for competition. Stella Nyamekye shined with a remarkable hat-trick, while Faiza Seidu and Mafia Nyame contributed braces to the team’s goal tally.
Tracy Twum, Helen Alormenu, and Mary Amponsah also found the net, adding to Ghana’s impressive scoreline.
With this dominant performance, the free-scoring Ghana team enter the WAFU B U-20 tournament with confidence. The tournament is set to commence on May 20, 2023, at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi.
Ghana are in Group A alongside Benin and Ivory Coast, setting the stage for exciting competition in the championship.
