Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has wished candidates sitting this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) all the best.
The exams for junior high school final-year students started on Monday, August 7 with over 600,000 of them writing Religious and Moral Education (RME) and English Language.
About 2,137 centers have been designated for the school exams and 15 centers – mainly the regional capitals – for the private exams.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, August 7, Vice President Bawumia stated: “It is Possible to pass with flying colours.
“Go for gold!”

The exams are scheduled to end on Friday, August 11.
