Ghanaian musician Jackline Acheampong, better known in showbiz as Gyakie, recently made a public declaration.
She made the announcement on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter, and it is related to her music career.
She claims she doesn’t have a second job and that music is all she has. Her post implies that she has no plans to retire from music and that she will do whatever it takes to drop more bangers and win some awards.
She wrote: “I have no second job. Music is all I have”
Gyakie recently revisited the embarrassing moment she had to endure when she first performed at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in a recent post (KNUST).
Gyakie made headlines a few days ago after revealing what happened to her when she first stepped on stage to perform while still a student at KNUST.
In a recent interview on the popular Ghanaian radio station Hitz FM, she recalled the incident and stated that it inspired her to do better.
She stated in her submission:
“People have set their minds to a certain target where think if you are not able to do better with your current song as you did with your previous hit, it means you are not good enough.
I don’t believe I’m buried, as Blakk Rasta believes. Having my first performance on the KNUST campus booed actually encouraged me.”
