Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alan Kyerematen has been campaigning to ensure that the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kumawu, Ernest Anim wins the by-election expected to take place on Tuesday, May 23.
He thanked the delegates and supporters of the NPP in Kuamwu for the support that was given to him while campaigning.
“Yesterday was exciting as I joined delegates and party folks to campaign for our parliamentary candidate, Mr. Ernest Anim, in the upcoming by-election in Kumawu,” the former Trade Minister tweeted.
He added “Thank you Kumawu for your unwavering support and commitment. Together, let us ensure a resounding victory on Tuesday.”

The by-election in Kumawu followed the death of the NPP MP for the area Phillip Atta Basoah, who died on March 27, 2023.
He was buried on Saturday ahead of a by-election on Tuesday.
