Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician Emmanuel Andrew Sammini, better known as Samini, has apologized to the security guard at the University of Ghana, Legon due to a recent verbal altercation.
It will be remembered that the singer took to social media to express his displeasure with being barred from entering the school grounds simply because he did not have his school card.
Samini was seen in a viral video berating the security guard for not letting him through despite his plea for forgiveness for leaving his card in one of the cars he brought to the school’s grounds.
However, his video drew harsh criticism from some Ghanaian’s, who chastised him for attempting to gain access to the school’s premises without a card simply because he is a celebrity.
Well, Samini has finally come out to apologize to the security for distracting him from doing his job, adding that he was advised to do the right thing when he arrived at the gate.
He wrote; After my post about the incident at the security-gate I’ve realized majority of you advised that I should have done the right thing.Nothing makes my case right regardless of how many cards I have and how upset I got .#nocardnoentry Apologies to the young man doing his job. 🙏🏾 🙏🏾
