The maiden edition of the much-anticipated radio show, Unedited with Miriam went live on April 5th 2023 on 3FM (92.7FM) at 7pm.
Miriam, former host of the Urban Blend on 3fm 92.7 says Unedited is aimed at sharing real life-changing stories to motivate and inspire audiences.
The first edition of the show featured Maxwell Barnieh, a teacher who was falsely accused of defilement in 2015 and subsequently sentenced to twenty years in prison.
Speaking on Unedited, Maxwell said he believed that he was set up by the school authorities because he had incurred the wrath of the administrative body after he complained about his delayed salary.
He said, “some days after complaining some people not in uniform picked me up at the school and sent me to the police station. I asked what my crime was and was told i have been charged for defiling a school girl.”
He said there was no evidence to prove that he defiled the girl hence the court ruled in his favor.
He added that six years into his twenty years sentence he was acquitted and discharged after the intervention of the astute lawyer Martin Kpebu.
Unedited airs on Wednesday 7-8pm on 3fm 92.7
