All-male catering and private dining company, Menscook Catering and Logistics Ghana have captured the hearts and taste buds of many through their viral dance videos, mouthwatering meals, and imaginative setups.
However, they’ve boldly debunked the claims in the public sphere that one must possess exceptional dancing skills to join their crew.
Members of Menscook Ghana, who appeared on a recent episode of the Day Show with Berla Mundi, clarified their stance on the matter.
When asked if one had to dance during auditions, they explained that the dance aspect primarily serves as entertainment and engagement for their Instagram community.
“You don’t necessarily need to know how to dance,” they revealed “It is mainly for the entertainment purpose. Menscook, you know the acceptance level we have on Instagram. Most of the things we do, we sort of want to engage our Instagram community”
Menscook Ghana revealed that it prides itself on its commitment to creativity and innovation hence the auditions and interviews conducted by the company revolve around assessing individuals’ skills, capabilities, and creative potential.
“The interviews happen where we ask the hard questions like who are you, what you can do and access your capabilities but the fun part is shown to the public for engagement for our social media,” Wisdom Obeng-Nyarko, a manager of the company revealed.
While their dance videos have gained widespread acclaim, they emphasized that dance skills are not compulsory for joining their crew but rather a sense of creativity.
“We stand for creativity and anything you can do with your hands your body or your voice,” they added.
With an ever-growing presence on Instagram and Tiktok, Menscook Ghana has harnessed the power of social media to engage its audience in a unique and captivating manner while creating sumptuous-looking meals and setting up imaginative dining experiences.
