The 19-year-oldโ€™s transfer has been anticipated in the last few days following his successful medicals earlier last week having already agreed on personal terms.

Nuamah follows in the footsteps of fellow compatriots Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana who all left FC Nordsjaelland after brilliant spells having all initially joined from the famous Right to Dream Academy.

Nuamah was an outstanding figure for the Danish heavyweights scoring 12 goals and assisting four times which eventually won him Young Player of the Year by a panel of experts, the Spring Best Player award, voted on by Superliga head coaches as well as the Player of the Year award, which was chosen by his fellow Superliga players.

Nuamah has also been named among the 100 nominees for the 2023 Golden Boy Award.

The young forward has picked up right where he left off last season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in six games for the Tigers this season before his move to Lyon.

He has not only delivered remarkably for his club but has made a name for himself on the international front. In June, Nuamah made his debut for the Black Stars in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Madagascar. He was also part of the Black Meteors squad at the 2023 U-23 AFCON held in Morocco playing an essential role to help Ghana qualify for the competition.

His remarkable performances initially attracted several European clubs including Paris Saint Germain, Tottenham Hotspurs and Ajax Amsterdam who had identified him as a long-term replacement for Kudus who joined West Ham last weekend.
