Jamaican international reggae artiste, Greg Rose, also known as Perfect Gidimani, has expressed his love for Ghana, as the country celebrates its 66th independence anniversary.

In an interview with Natty Fyah on Nhyira FM’s Reggae Train programme, the Boboshanti Rastafarian described Ghana as home of talents that needs to be given global attention.

“Ghana is the gateway to Zion (Africa) and also the motherland that gave birth to Jamaica and most of the Caribbean countries as history records from the days of slavery,” he said.

He is however looking forward to Ghana weaning itself from dependence on Western economies in order to be regarded as fully independent.

Mr. Perfect had his major breakthrough in 2005 with his single debut, “Hardcart Boy” after years of working as a recording artiste.

He released over ten conscious reggae songs in February 2023, in addition to others released since 2000.

Perfect Gidimani would love to collaborate with any hard working artiste in Ghana, but specifically mentioned Stonebwoy.

A farmer and clothing line designer, Perfect Gidimani born March 26, 1980 from a town called Bamboo close to Chillani in Jamaica, has shared big global stages with International artistes in Reggae Festivals.

Having been inspired by root reggae artistes from Jamaica, Gidimani described Anthony B as the one that paved the way for him to build links in Kingston which enabled him to reach out to the world.
