2020 Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency John Setor Dumelo says he will be disappointed if one vote goes to Kojo Bonsu against John Dramani Mahama in the ongoing primaries.
According to him, the elections is a “done deal” for the former President, who is seeking to lead the NDC again into a presidential poll.
Though initially contested by two party stalwarts, Mr Mahama has only Kojo Bonsu left in the race after the last-minute withdrawal of Dr Kwabena Duffuor.
In an interview with Media General on Saturday, May 13, Mr Dumelo, whose reelection bid has been put on hold after the postponement of the Ayawaso West Wuogon primaries by the national leadership, is confident Mr Mahama will emerge victorious after Saturday.
He said the NDC is only looking for at least 90 percent for the former President.
“It is John Mahama all the way!”
